Nuala’s first standalone poetry collection (bilingual), Tattoo:Tatú, is forthcoming summer 2007. A collection of her stories was published in 2005 by Arlen House. She has won the inaugural Cúirt New Writing Prize, RTÉ’s Radio’s Francis MacManus Award and the Cecil Day Lewis Award, all for fiction. She is currently writing a collaborative play, with three other writers, for Turtle Shell Productions in New York and is a judge, along with Rick Moody and Segun Afolabi, of the 2007 Frank O’Connor short story award. Nuala ní Chonchúir lives in Galway, Ireland.
