Bloomsbury Prize (closed 03 October, winners announced 21 October at the Bloomsbury Festival 2007)
The £500 prize is for a story with a Bloomsbury connection, theme or setting, in any genre.
Open to all. Stories must be 2500 words or less, original and unpublished. There is a £6 entry fee.

Judges
Linda Leatherbarrow is the author of the collection Essential Kit (Maia Press), and has won many prizes for her short fiction. She teaches the short story at Middlesex University. Several of her stories have also been broadcast on BBC Radio 4.

Lane Ashfeldt is the winner of several awards for her short fiction. As part of Bloomsbury Festival
2007 she will be reading from her story ‘Dancing on Canvey’ at the Artworker’s Guild in October. Bloomsbury Festival, Saturday 20 October.

Winners notified October 15th; prizes awarded October 21st. The winning writer has the option to read an extract from their story at Bloomsbury Festival.
