Vanessa Gebbie is of these islands. In other words, she is actually Welsh, lives in England, holidays in Cornwall and Scotland and writes in Ireland. She is widely published and has had successes in many writing competitions. ‘Graffiti’ is the final story in her debut collection Words from a Glass Bubble (Salt Publishing 2008). She is currently writing a novel, studying poetry, co-writing a growing series of Kafkaesque letters and working on a collection of flash fiction due out from Salt Publishing in 2009.
