Jo Lloyd was brought up in Wales and now lives in Oxford. She has been longlisted for the Bridport Prize and is one of the twelve prizewinners in the 2009 Asham Award, to be announced later this year. ‘Work’, which won the 2009 Willesden Herald International Short Story Prize, is her first published story and is included in the anthology New Short Stories 3.
