Ged Backland is a creative director for Hallmark plc in the UK. Previous
commissioned work includes a play, Jesus In Reeboks, produced by Vicky Featherstone for Paines Plough. He was also one of the writers selected for the Channel 4 sit-com festival where his pilot Lipstick Terrorists was
produced and staged at the Riverside Studios. Ged has not long completed a three year stint of ‘first look deals’ with with Chrysalis and Carlton Television, writing pilots for the comedy script development unit. His first
