Mark Gallacher
Mark Gallacher was born in 1967, and grew up in the Scottish west coast fishing town of Girvan, Ayrshire. In 1999 he moved to Denmark to live with his beautiful Danish girlfriend. Their son Daniel was born August 2002.
Close but no cigar: Mark Gallacher’s poetry was twice shortlisted for the Redbeck Poetry competition in the UK. His short fiction has appeared in a handful of literary magazines. He is currently reworking a short story collection, provisionally entitled Progress Hall, writing a novel, dealing with the roller coaster of parenthood, and hoping for a break and at least two nights sleep in a row.
