Richard Hensley’s professional life has been spent designing electrical and electronic systems for industrial controls, a very creative activity. He is now more interested in creating fictional situations and worlds. He caught the writing bug in 1999 and set about learning the craft in a succession of writers’ groups. Now 59 years old, his objective is to retire as soon as possible and spend more hours writing. He has a novel planned, with some episodes sketched out, and hopes to start serious work on it soon. Richard Hensley is married with three daughters (all flown the nest), and lives in Gloucestershire.
