Dave Maass is a writer, journalist and occasional documentary film-maker. He completed a BA in media at Temple University’s Tokyo campus and also holds an MA in social anthropology and ethnographic film from the University of Manchester’s Granada Centre for Visual Anthropology. In 2005, he spent five months in Ghana volunteering with the NGO Journalists for Human Rights and the Buduburam refugee camp newspaper The Vision. He is currently based in Texas where he writes full-time for the San Antonio Current. ‘All You Can Stomach’, placed second in Pulp Net’s 2004 Douglas Coupland Award, was his first published piece of fiction.
