Andrew Barclay Newsham
Andrew Newsham was born in Burnley in 1975. After a brief spell as a journalist he decided to follow the example of his literary heroes and set off to explore the world and write. He won the Esquire prize for short fiction in 2001 and in 2003 became the first writer from Europe to be invited to America by the Jack Kerouac Writers in Residence Project. He now lives in Birmingham and is writing a novel with the working title of Disorganised Crime. Four of his stories appeared in the Tindal Street Press anthology, Dreams Never End.
