Belinda Webb was born in Moss-Side, Manchester in 1973, the oldest girl in an Irish catholic family of four brothers and two sisters. She has lived in London since 1995. ‘Radio Gaga’, a story published on Pulp Net in 2004, was one of her first fiction credits. Her first novel, A Clockwork Apple, was published in 2008 by Burning House, an imprint of Beautiful Books. It is the journey of one girl’s rage at the conditions into which she has been born and how she tries to turn her existence into something more meaningful, despite the consequences.
